When we learn that an online casino has new and popular games, we generally assume that they are all re-releases of old video slots with new graphics. Occasionally, however, the introduction of a novel interactive table game surprises us.
RealTime Gaming (RTG) is credited with introducing the Suit Em Up Blackjack game, a side wager variation available at many of the best blackjack casino sites.
Historically, 21 has been one of the most popular live and online casino table games in the globe.
In blackjack, participants are able to make decisions that have a direct impact on their chances of winning each hand.
The House Advantage in Suit Em Up Blackjack
Before the game begins, participants of Suit Em Up Blackjack have the option of using 2, 6, or 8 decks of cards.
In traditional blackjack, fewer decks result in a reduced house advantage. With the Suit Em Up side bet activated, however, the house advantage decreases to 2.67 percent when playing with eight decks.
With more cards in the shoe, receiving suited card combinations to win the side wager becomes more likely.
Suit Em Up Blackjack Rules
The rules of Suit Em Up Blackjack are reasonably standard:
Dealer must stand on 17 or higher.
A blackjack natural pays 3:2.
These are beneficial regulations for players. However, this portion of the game will not begin until after the side wager portion of Suit Em Up Blackjack has concluded.
Side Bet Rules & Payouts
The player’s first two cards must be of the same suit to win the side wager. This immediately results in a 2:1 payout on the side wager.
If the cumulative value of these suit cards is 11, the payout will increase to 3:2. The payout for a pair of suited cards is three to one.
Any blackjack with a suit increases the payout to 10:1.
If both of these suited cards are Aces, the maximum payout of 60:1 will be awarded.n
